Meet Dr. Carolyn Lee

Carolyn pastors Jubilee Worship Center in all forms of ministry—in prayer, in counseling, and in the pulpit. She is a shepherd at heart, wishing to be directly involved with the lives of the people entrusted to her care.

Carolyn and her husband, Allen Lee, co-founded the church and Healing Ministries with the belief the Father’s love to His Body could be expressed efficiently through both male and female pastoral expressions.

Allen went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2019 with a resounding victory over the ultimate enemy. Carolyn soldiers on in the ministry Allen loved, and she fully trusts God for a bright future for both ministries.

Degrees & Certifications

The Lees were blessed with four children: Allen Jr., Jennifer, Patrick [who is with Jesus], and Bethany. They have nine grandchildren: Travis, Spencer, Maggie, Daniel, Jack, Ben, Gavin, Lindsay, and Gracie—family being the delight of her soul, next to Jesus.

Pastor Carolyn spent many years as a busy mother at home, homeschooling two of her four children. While home-based, she taught Sunday school with her husband and led numerous Bible studies. In 1995, she began full-time ministry under Carolyn Lee Ministries.

As an author, she has written and published homeschool curriculum on church history as well as a few articles in magazines. She authored Seamless, a story of eternal hope in the midst of great loss, birthed from the passing of the Lee’s son, Patrick, from cancer. She is a frequent conference and retreat speaker. Carolyn was ordained in 1997, and has earned her Doctorate of Theology Degree from Christian Life Educators Network, in Columbus, Georgia.

Upon the call to begin Jubilee Worship Center, both Allen and Carolyn were stirred by the Spirit to create and protect a safe environment for a healing ministry, purposed for God’s presence and His pleasure, and to nurture it as a family-centered church.  God instructed them to keep it simple, unentangled, and unadulterated for His glory.

Healing Ministries

Jubilee Worship Center was birthed in July of 1998. The church’s emphasis on healing led to study the early century 20th century ministry of John G. Lake. Cal Pierce re-opened Lake’s spiritual wells of healing in Spokane, Washington, in 1999. From his ministry the church learned how to dig the spiritual well of healing for Jubilee. Shortly thereafter, in 2001, Healing Rooms of Guilford County opened, with no advertisement except on the church’s website.

Healing ministers were trained and the church opened its doors to those who came. The rooms were always full, with many coming for personal prayer ministry having traveled from out of town, as well as out of state. Word of mouth became the most effective advertisement. Everyone knows someone who needs healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.  If only the walls of Jubilee’s healing rooms could talk… Changed lives, healed souls, and restored bodies are testimonials that speak for themselves.

After 18 years of healing prayer ministry, Jubilee opened Healing Ministries Greensboro to create the same safe environment as before, and yet provide more time with each candidate for prayer. Healing Ministries, which opened June 22nd, 2018, provides ministry sessions Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday mornings, with trained healing ministers made available for each candidate.
